The Crystalyte Cannon (front) and Crystalyte Journey (rear) systems are light, powerful and easy to install electric bicycle kits. Our batteries range from the new light-weight 36V Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) to a high end 48V Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMh) battery and fit centrally on your bicycle bottle holder. The 20A brushless dc motor controller puts out 500W or 2/3 horsepower. The motor is a new design from Crystalyte and provides a convenient 9mm dropout for mounting on everything from hybrids to mountain bikes. The systems are available for 20", 24", 26" and 700c wheel bikes front or rear (depending on current stock).

We recommend that you check out our fitting guide to make sure the Crystalyte kit will fit your bike. If you cannot fit the standard NiMH battery on the downtube or you would like to have two batteries mounted on your bike, the smaller Li-Ion battery or the rack mount might be an option for you. We recommend using the thumb throttle option if your bicycle has an integrated brake and gear shifter.
